Linda Bellingham

Ever since I was young, I have been interested in the production of good tasting and eye tantalizing food.  A number of instructors, both in high school and college, encouraged me to be creative artistically and to continue down the food path.  I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in Home Economics and Education.  Shortly thereafter, I worked with and was further trained by a well known European chef.  The combination of being an artsy girl and having a solid background in food, including food chemistry, nutrition, and presentation, made me a natural in the world of food styling. 

I was a freelance food stylist in the Dallas, Texas commercial market for over twenty years.  When it comes to food styling, I have done it all, for both film and still photography.  One of my most frequent clients, Harry and David, Inc. offered me a full-time position as Stylist Manager in their in-house photography studio.  I accepted that offer and spent six years training stylists, co-managing the photo studio, developing styling techniques, stream lining communication between departments regarding product presentation in their cataloges, and styling on set for still photography and film

Now, after completing my first book, Food Styling for Photographers: A Guide To Creating Your Own Appetizing Art, I am focusing my attentions on styling for select clients, teaching food styling seminars, recipe development, and developing specialized product presentation for clients.
